I really appreciate and value that this group is brought together by a common philosophy of parenting! There are many ways to practice AP and what draws the moms in this group together is that we all practice, or have practiced, at least one form of AP. Whether you practice all forms of AP, one form, or are just interested in learning more, please know that you are welcome here. The Real Moms of Snohomish Co. are just that: real moms. We aren’t perfect moms, and we aren’t even trying to be. We have good days and bad days. Sometimes we know just what to do, and sometimes we have no clue. We have real kids. They are little angels who crawl around and get into other people’s diaper bags; sometimes they don’t know how to share, and they get dirty at playdates. We use antibacterial stuff when we can, and we’ll use licked fingers to clean faces, and shirt sleeves to wipe nose …

I am a small town girl who moved to the area several years ago. Although friends and family have always been important, I never realized how much until I found myself hundreds of miles away... As time went by, I realized I didn't have any friends, who I had made on my own around here, per se...they were either co-workers who I spent time with outside of work, or my kids friends parents. I enjoy all of these friends, but I realized that I was holding back on getting to know people on my own... N …
